FatChance Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

FatChance (Walker Hooper) makes indie Mac apps, including Setsuna and EXIF Cool. This policy applies to those apps when distributed through the Mac App Store and our direct channels.

Data collection

We do not collect personal data from these apps. There is no FatChance account, no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, and no third-party tracking in the apps.

Setsuna uses Screen Recording permission only to capture what you choose to record. Recordings and settings stay on your Mac unless you export or share them yourself. We do not upload your screen contents to FatChance servers.

EXIF Cool reads and writes metadata for files you open. Processing is local on your Mac. We do not upload your files.

Purchases

If you buy through the Mac App Store, Apple processes payment and related account data under Apple’s privacy policy. If you buy through Gumroad, Gumroad’s privacy policy applies to that purchase.

Contact

Privacy questions: use the Support URL listed with the app in App Store Connect, or message FatChance via the listing where you purchased.

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do.
